Other forms of casting
There are other forms of casting for preserving the birthing experience. A belly cast is great way allow others to experience the stages before birth. Belly casting is the process of creating a cast of a pregnant mother during the later stages of pregnancy. It can also be used as a way to chronicle the different gestation stages of pregnancy.
Baby Footprint kit - Just like the baby handprint kit except the babies feet are embedded into a footprint cast to record the child's foot.
There are many kits on the market to choose from. But when buying any of these kits you will want to make sure that the kit has the following:
- A frame - Once the handprint is taken you will want a means to display the cast to the public.
- Plaster, mold - The plaster is what your going to place the child's hand into.
